This policy explains what Brindl collects when you join our waitlist, why, and what we do with it. We have kept it plain.
Who we are
Brindl is a pre-launch app for dog parents, and this site is our waitlist. You can reach us anytime at privacy@brindl.app.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect your phone number and your consent to receive text messages from us. If you choose to, you can also share your first name and a few details about your dog (name, breed, age). Those are optional and only collected if you enter them. We do not collect payment information on this site.
Why we collect it
We use your information to text you when Brindl launches, with your access link and founding-member perks, and to personalize that message and your future experience in the app, like greeting you and your dog by name. We use it only for those purposes. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Text messages
By submitting your phone number, you agree to receive texts from Brindl about our launch and founding-member perks. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Opting out removes you from launch notifications.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with service providers who help us operate, under agreements limiting their use of it: our database provider, which securely stores waitlist information, and our text-messaging provider, which delivers our SMS. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Where it is stored and how long
Your information is stored on servers in the United States. We keep it until Brindl launches and you have been onboarded, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Your choices
You can ask us to access or delete your information, or opt out of texts, at any time. Reply STOP to stop messages, or email privacy@brindl.app for any request, and we will honor it promptly.
Children
Brindl is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will change the date above and post the new version here.
